Things here have gone from worse to even worse.
Don't know when I'll be back or
if I will even continue this site.
As of now, not this week.

I just want you all to know that I will resume blogging sporadically next week. After that I will be back on a daily basis (week-ends excepted). I have been operating with a pinched nerve in my neck and other assorted personal issues which have resulted in me having to take a break from blogging. I have thought through whether or not going forward with this endeavor is something I want to do. It is, yet, I need to continue taking a break through the week-end. It is of course Mother's Day and being a Mom I want to enjoy MY time! Thank you all for visiting and I am looking forward to bringing you TJ's slant on the weird and wacky world of Hollywood.

This may be the only party Paris Hilton isn't tempted to attend.

A Christian group known for slamming celebrities such as 50 Cent and Jessica Simpson plans to celebrate the heiress' jail sentence by trashing her CDs at Hilton hotels around the country.

Mark Dice, founder of The Resistance, will speak at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on June 5 - the day Hilton, 26, is due to start her 45-day sentence.

"The kinds of role models that have come to light recently in America are horrible role models," Dice told the Daily News.

He called Hilton an "extremely materialistic, uneducated" person who "rose to prominence because of a homemade sex video. Now we have all these young, preteen and teenage girls who really look up to her."

Dice is urging parents whose children own Hilton CDs or books to bring them along.

"We're going to be throwing them in huge trash cans and getting them off the face of the Earth," he added.

Representatives for the Beverly Hilton and for the North American branch of Hilton Hotels did not return calls for comment.

Note to Paris: don't you think with all that mula you have, ya might be able to get yourself a manicure?

Josh Holloway who plays conman Sawyer in the cult plane crash TV series Lost, has been approached by studio bosses to play Gambit in X-Men 4. Gambit is a mutant who can charge objects with kinetic energy and make them explode.

Holloway's announcement has confirmed rumors 20th Century Fox are to make another film after the success of the previous three installments.

Holloway said: "I would love to play a superhero. I'd love to wear a cape and tights!"

The hunky star isn't worried about performing his own stunts if he lands the role, because he is a real-life action man.

According to TMZ:

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" star Ty Pennington was arrested early Saturday morning in Los Angeles on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs while driving.

The hottie carpenter, who got his start on the TLC hit "Trading Spaces," was arrested at 12:35 AM. He was released two hours later after posting $5000 bail.

Ty just issued this statement:

"I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has threatened to pull out of filming on her latest movie in the Czech capital Prague after being hounded by paparazzi.

Jolie and husband Brad Pitt locked themselves away in their luxury villa in Prague after a string of incidents involving photographers.

They are in Prague to shoot Jolie's latest movie Wanted.

According to reports she broke down in tears and threatened to leave the country immediately after a snapper took a picture of one of her children at the luxury villa where they are staying for the next month.

One of the couple's bodyguards told the local daily Aha that Jolie locked herself in one of the villa's bathrooms and shouted: "This a horrible country! I'm never coming back here again.

"I don't care if it costs me a billion dollars, I'm not going to stay here another hour. Even Africa wasn't this bad." She eventually calmed down though when the photographer apologised.

But the pair did not come out of the villa afterwards and local media said they had cut themselves off from the rest of the world and had abandoned planned sightseeing trips of the city.

The incident came just a day after a photographer was arrested after reportedly climbing into the grounds of the villa and walking around in the garden.

Police have since posted a permanent patrol outside the house and the couple have drafted in extra security guards.

Local media had already warned when the couple arrived at the villa last week that their security was lax and they and their children could be in danger.

They had only one security guard on duty and the fence around the villa was not high enough and anyone could easily scale it to get into the grounds.

The pair will star in new movie Boone'S Lick, Missouri, which is adapted from a book written by Brokeback Mountain screenwriter Larry McMurtry.

In the new period film, Moore will portray a pioneer woman who falls in love with her brother-in-law, played by Hanks, during a cross-country trip from Missouri to a fort in Wyoming to rejoin her husband. Shooting on Boone's Lick is scheduled to begin later this year.

British Soldiers are heading for Iraq wearing T-shirts saying "I'm Harry" in a show of defiance at rebels intent on harming the prince.

The move, which echoes a legendary scene of solidarity in movie Spartacus, comes days before the royal is deployed to the frontline.

Militants have pledged to kill Prince Harry but fellow troops are putting on a humorous display of camaraderie about the threat. Their khaki tops feature a telescopic sight target on the chest and "I'm Harry" scrawled in bloodred dye.

A senior military source said: "Soldiers are well known for having operational tour T-shirts and also for pulling together to support each other. Prince Harry is highly respected by his comrades as a young officer and for what he is doing in the Armed Forces.

"I wouldn't be surprised if all his troops haven't bought them to demonstrate their support for him as their leader and also to help donate some money to the Army Benevolent Fund."

The £19.95 shirt is being sold on eBay and advertised under a rallying call of "I'mSpartacus, I'm Harry, We're all Harry now. Confuse the enemy, wear the T-shirt". It is meant to copy a scene in the classic 1960 film Spartacus when Kirk Douglas's character is protected from Romans hunting him down after a battle. The eBay seller believes if British soldiers in Iraq are wearing the T-shirts it will confuse the terrorists and they will not know who to assassinate.
He says a percentage of all purchases will go to the British Army Benevolent Fund - although he does not say how much.

The actor, who appeared on a US talk show seemingly intoxicated following a night of drinking limoncello with George Clooney, is promoting a signature line of the citrus-flavoured liqueur. DeVito shocked viewers with his dishevelled appearance on US TV show ‘The View’ last November. The actor was supposed to be promoting film ‘Deck the Halls’, but instead branded President George W. Danny is taking this embarrassing moment on ABC's "The View" and turning it into his own brand of limoncello, a lemon-flavored liqueur.

The grande dames of the TV cop show, Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly, better known as Cagney and Lacey, were reunited as the pair celebrated the ground-breaking show's 25th anniversary.

A star-studded party, attended by Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, was held at the Museum Of Television And Radio to promote a special anniversary DVD.

Both actresses picked up numerous Emmy awards for the controversial show, which tackled heavyweight issues like racism, date rape and alcoholism within a primetime slot.

Tyne, who played Mary Beth Lacey, said of the reunion: "I had promised (Sharon) there would come a day when we wouldn't be photographed together - lying through my teeth, but it still stands as a big deal in both of our careers... now that I'm older and wiser, I'm willing to accept that!"

The pair admit they never imagined the impact the series would have.

"If someone had came up to us and said 'how would you women like to become role models for the 80s?' - how fast we would have run in the opposite direction... I don't think we ever dreamed tonight would ever happen."

And Sharon joked that 25 years on - the show hasn't aged, but she has.

"People recognise my voice first now. They recognise my face, then go 'boy you've changed!'... I say 'yes... thank you'."

Actor Patrick Dempsey, a star of the TV medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” will drive the Chevrolet Corvette pace car for the Indianapolis 500 on May 27.

Dempsey, co-owner of the Vision Racing team, will lead the field of 33 drivers to the green flag at the start of the race. Indianapolis Motor Speedway president Joie Chitwood said Tuesday that Dempsey has developed a bond with racing and the track.

“So he truly understands and appreciates the pageantry, prestige and tradition of the month of May and the Indianapolis 500,” he said.

Dempsey has driven in sports car races and off-road events, and is a partner in Vision Racing with IRL and Speedway chief executive Tony George. Last year’s pace car driver was seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. Other drivers in recent years included former Secretary of State Colin Powell, actors Morgan Freeman, Anthony Edwards and Jim Caviezel and talk-show host Jay Leno.

G: What’s the most bizarre interaction you’ve had with a fan?
OB: In New York this girl kind of freaked out at me. I was being let out of a building and the security people were saying, “You’ve got to keep moving! You can’t stop! If you stop we’re going to have chaos in here!” But she got kind of aggressive with me and was really angry. She was like, “I’ve been at every premiere and you never say hello.” And it was funny, I felt really upset. I felt bad for her. So I turned around and went over to her and just gave her a hug and said, “It’s cool. I’m sorry you feel let down or disappointed. But the nature of my life is I can’t necessarily stop every time, and it’s not because I don’t want to.” I think she felt a little better afterward, and so did I. And for me, it actually shed a little light on the other side of the coin.

G: I heard there’s actually an imposter “Orlando” on MySpace. Have you checked out his site?
OB: I heard about him in a really weird way. This guy approached me in my hometown and said something like, “I’m Angel.” He had this mad look in his eye. I was like, “You’re who? That’s a funny name for a guy.” And he said, “I’m four down on MySpace. You’re on MySpace, right?” And I said, “I don’t even know what it is!” I’m not on it. So anyone who’s pretending to be me, I hope he’s getting laid a lot.

G: Is it hard for you to date when you’re the focus of so much attention?
OB: Yeah, it is. It just kills the romance of the initial moment. I grew up predominantly with my mother and my sister, so I’m comfortable in the presence of women. I have a lot of female friends, and I can’t step outside with any of them without being linked to them in some form or another. It’s sort of annoying, but what can you do?

G: So, are you dating Penélope Cruz?
OB: [Pause] She’s a friend of mine.

G: So you’re not dating?

"Police sources tell TMZ that a woman obsessed with Sandra Bullock almost killed Sandra's husband, motorcycle mogul Jesse James, during a frightening attack at the couple's Orange County home late Sunday night.

Cops say that Bullock, along with James' 10-year-old child, looked on in horror as Marcia Valentine "attempted 3 or 4 times to run Jesse James over with her silver Mercedes." Jesse was never struck by the car during the alleged incident.

We're told Valentine also "laid in the driveway and wouldn't move."

Orange County Sheriffs were contacted and responded to the scene, but Valentine allegedly fled before they arrived. After an intense manhunt, officers located Valentine early Monday morning and took her into custody. Valentine is being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Calls to reps for both James and Bullock were not immediately returned.

Snoop Dogg has offered to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s TV talk show to debate the use of racist and sexist lyrics in rap music.

Last week, the hip-hop star’s name was mentioned on The Oprah Winfrey Show in a discussion about the lyrical content of rap albums and the effects such music is having on children.
But despite Winfrey’s opposition to graphic rap lyrics, Dogg - real name Calvin Broadus - wants to sit down and talk with her on her show.

House star, Hugh Laurie, had no problem raising some smiles at the event which launched exclusive "House-ism" T-shirts to benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness. His shirt was emblazoned with the slogan "Everybody Lies", a phrase coined by his character Dr Gregory House, who is legendary for his irreverent bedside manner.

The British thesp was joined at the event by the hit medical drama's other cast-members, including Lisa Edelstein, who plays his boss Dr Lisa Cuddy, and Jennifer Morrison aka immunologist Dr Allison Cameron.

For months now Carrie Underwood has denied that she is dating Tony Romo.

But, lo & behold, this photo seems to tell a different story.

“Carrie and Tony were having a great time in the deejay booth,” an insider tells PEOPLE. “They were laughing, singing together, holding hands and their arms were around each other all night.”

A spokesperson for Underwood, 24, confirms that the Grammy winner was on hand to celebrate Romo’s birthday. Asked if they are dating, rep Jessie Schmidt tells PEOPLE: “They have recently been spending a little time together.” But, says Schmidt, they are “definitely not boyfriend/girlfriend. It’s very casual at this point. It’s [in the] really early stages.”

At Romo’s party, the VIP section of Ghostbar was closed off for the football star’s guests, who had their own private bar and seating area. But Underwood and Romo didn’t stay in seclusion: They ventured into the deejay booth before midnight, where they played tunes and led the crowd in a loud version of Twisted Sister’s hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”

“They sang and everybody joined in – I mean everybody,” a rep for Ghostbar says. “It was pretty funny.”

Underwood and Romo stayed in the deejay booth for around 45 minutes before returning to the VIP area. “They definitely weren’t keeping their relationship a secret,” says another insider.

And Underwood put her singing talent to good use when she led the entire club in singing “Happy Birthday” to Romo. The club also had “Happy Birthday Tony Romo” posted on all its video screens.

This weekend was not the first time Underwood and Romo have been spotted together. On Christmas Day, she showed up to watch the Cowboys play the Eagles, and Romo was spotted hugging her before the game.

But in February, the football star told reporters at a pre-Super Bowl press conference that he and the singer weren’t an item. “She’s a very nice, sweet girl, I care for her and whoever ends up with her will be a very lucky guy,” he said at the time. A call to Romo’s rep was not immediately returned.

Icons Of Music Auction To Benefit Music Rising

A fundraising auction of music memorabilia from Jimi Hendrix, The Edge, Bono, Paul McCartney and others smashed expectations and brought in $2.4 million, some of which will go to a charity that replaces musical equipment lost to hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

"It was the best sale we've ever done," said Darren Julien, president and CEO of Julien's Auctions, which ran the event benefiting Music Rising.

Music Rising was co-founded by The Edge, the U2 guitarist who donated his favorite instrument, a 1975 Gibson Les Paul that he has played for years. The guitar had been expected to bring $60,000 to $80,000, but it went for $288,000, including the commission.

Other highlights included a pair of sunglasses donated by Bono that went for $24,000, a guitar from Bob Dylan that sold for $192,000, and a guitar from Paul McCartney that brought in $81,600.

The event Saturday night at the Hard Rock Cafe was so popular that bidding went on for three hours after the scheduled conclusion, Julien said.

The final amount going to the charity had not been tallied yet, he said. For some items, the total selling price goes to Music Rising, while other items designated a portion of the proceeds.

A guitar owned by Jimi Hendrix was sold for $480,000.

These guitars were signed by The Edge, Bono & Paul McCartney.

The Preservation Jazz Hall Band opens the festivities at
