Bono & Obama Hook Up!

Ben LaBolt, a spokesman for Obama, said that the two men met for about a half hour in the senator's personal office to discuss the ONE Campaign, a non-profit organization that the Irish rock star helped form to combat AIDS and global poverty.

"Bono was making rounds on the Hill to build support for the ONE campaign. He particularly wanted to meet with Senator Obama since he’s a member of the Foreign Relations Committee – and has been active on international poverty and global health issues," LaBolt said.

LaBolt said the two did not discuss particular programs or legislation but "had a general discussion about how foreign assistance to the right programs (anti-poverty, global health) can boost our security and the standing of the U.S. around the world."

Co-owner Bon Jovi of the Arena Football League team, Philadelphia Soul, and co-owner John Elway of the Colorado Crush attend a media conference for the AFL's 20th season kick off at the ESPN Zone in New York City.

This year the Arena Football League will feature a duet between the iconic, Grammy Award-winning rock band Bon Jovi and country sensations Big & Rich. Philadelphia Soul co-owner Jon Bon Jovi and band-mate Richie Sambora co-wrote a brand new song titled “We Got It Goin’ On” with Big Kenny and John Rich that will become the theme song and part of the opening video for ESPN’s weekly 2007 AFL game telecasts. “We Got It Goin’ On” will also appear on the upcoming Bon Jovi album, which is planned for a 2007 release.

Hugh Grant Is Looking For A Virgin?

Actor Hugh Grant has revealed that his ideal spouse is a well-educated virgin. In addition to this the spouse would ideally be a devout Christian.

Grant, 46, after a three-year relationship, recently broke up with Jemima Khan, who has converted to Islam. Grant revealed his taste in women in a recent interview for an Italian TV channel. The handsome actor also revealed that he's not planning on having sex in an airplane bathroom. He quips that he couldn't do that as all his time goes to watching cartoons.

John Travolta broke out an elaborate hair piece for the Academy Awards last night. Hey John - the Papillions called, they want their look back!

John told the New York Daily News' Daily Dish that he, wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu Travolta, 6, will be starring in a comedy together. John said, "Will Smith inspired us." He's so happy that he can't stop clapping!

Rosie Comes To Vegas!

Comedian Roseanne Barr has made good on her promise to play Vegas and she's landed a six-week run in Rita Rudner's old theater at New York-New York. And Roseanne, who is never known to shy away from controversy, promises it will be "in your face humor" and warns that teens younger than 17 must be accompanied by adults!

Her first extended Vegas run since a series of concerts at the Riviera is titled "All You Can Eat Comedy" and will start March 15 and run through April 30. Tickets went on sale early this evening when her limited engagement was announced.

Observers at Hollywood after hours club Xenii say the pair looked like a romantic couple and danced together ALL NIGHT. Some very sexy maneuvers and plenty of sweat. Recently Tyrese was accused of roughing up his pregnant girlfriend but he was cleared of all accusations. But he does seem to have strings attached. Just last week Cameron was spotted with Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou, so she's out there playing the field. We wonder if she's hanging out with sexy black guys to get back at her exboyfriend Justin Timberlake - because he always wanted to BE a sexy black guy!"

Ten days after partying together at LA's Hyde nightclub, Cameron Diaz, 34, and Oscar-nominated Djimon Hounsou were again close at Elton John's Aids Foundation party. At one point, Blood Diamond star Djimon, 42, whispered in Cameron's ear, causing her to giggle uncontrollably. The pair snuck out of the party through a back door.
