Corinne Bailey Rae Was Snubbed at Grammy Party

Soul star Corinne Bailey Rae was refused entry into the Grammys after show party on Sunday - but refused to let her inner diva respond to the snub. Bailey Rae performed at the awards ceremony alongside John Mayer and John Legend, but security staff failed to recognize the star, even asking the 27-year-old to produce identification to prove her age. But the singer admits she was too embarrassed to make a scene. She explains, "I was asked for ID at the Grammys after show because they didn't believe I was over 21. I didn't say 'Do you know who I am?' in case they didn't and it would be embarrassing. Finally, someone told them I sang at the Grammys and they gave in."
