Ellen's amazing year received another big boost - her self-titled TV talk show has been nominated for 12 Daytime Emmys. The hit show is up for a Best Talk Show prize and DeGeneres herself is nominated as Best Host - an award she has won three years in a row.

I have had this picture stashed away, awaiting the right moment and there is no moment like now. Congratulations Ellen!

Y'all,a rumor goin' around the net today is that Portia "confronted" Ellen after the Oscar's about making a commitment and they decided that marriage was the key. So, who knows? We will just have to keep our eyes & ears open on this one.
