Earlier in the week-end her beau,
John Mayer, played at the New Orleans Jazz Fest.

Then John made his way to NYC for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala where he must have gotten a hair cut! He looks so much better:) Almost handsome and I've never thought that about him.

Why oh why is he with her?
Never and I mean never have I seen them walk side by side,
she is always about 10 steps behind him.
Note to John: Lose her soon!

Getting ready for a Santa Barbara weekend with galpal Jessica Simpson, singer John Mayer dropped his duffle bag out on the driveway, ran back in the house to retrieve something...and heard a loud "CRUUUNCH!" Racing outside, he saw that Jessica, totally unaware of the bag, had backed over it while reversing out of the garage - and destroyed a limited-edition video game console he'd been gifted with during his Japan tour. "OH, NO!... Not my console," howled John. Snapped Jessica: "Why was it on the ground, and not in the trunk?" John grudgingly admitted he was at fault, but he's inconsolable because the console's not yet available on the U.S. market. Just like a dumb blonde! Oh yea, she's not blonde anymore.

Jessica Simpson Likes To Make Noise

The 'Employee of the Month' actress Jessica Simpson was seen having dinner with the American musician John Mayer in the romantic Italian city before heading back to the exclusive luxury Hotel de Russie. When they got back to their room the couple's energetic bedroom antics could reportedly be heard through the walls. A source revealed to More magazine: "Jessica and John got back fairly early and stayed in all night. But by the sounds of it, they didn't get to sleep for a long time. The source continued, "I couldn't believe Jessica sounded like she was getting it on so loudly in the room next door."

Do we have a new guitar "God" on our hands?

Sources from last nights concert state, "John Mayer wowed fans with his guitar prowess and sensitive singing at Madison Square Garden. John has the ability to blend his impressive skills with the guitar to his abilities as a thoughtful singer-songwriter. After the show John & his "girlfriend", Jessica Simpson, hug out at Stereo nightclub in the city.

Best Red Carpet Moment

Goes to John Mayer...

For 2 reasons: Telling Ryan Gaycrest that he is the "Anderson Cooper of E! Network" and telling him to Be A Man! Be A Man! Then Gaycrest asks "Are you dating Jessica Simpson and John replies in Japanese-man who knew he could speak Japanese? Basically, John says, "She is beautiful and and you'll be the last to know "..Gaycrest was speechless. Funny man this John Mayer. He definitely grew on me tonight! But I do have one question for you John-Which Jessica do you like best-the blonde, the red head or the brunette?

On another note, there was a Don Henley tribute Friday night where John performed. The buzz from that event is that John Mayer and dare I say it--is being compare to Clapton? I guess he kicked some guitar ass Friday night.
