Pete Doherty To Go Back To Rehab?

Pete Doherty will miss girlfriend Kate Moss's fashion launch this week because he is checking back into rehab, reports Digital Spy.

The Babyshambles frontman, 28, has been booked into a clinic, where he will be provided with an implant to help beat his heroin addiction.

A pal told the Sunday Mirror, "Pete did go out on a bender last week, but he has reduced his intake massively and he hopes the new implant will help him quit for good."


I sure hope this does work for him. Addiction is such a horrible thing. And he seems to have such a mischievous grin on his face when he plays with the PAPS! Beyond that, he is a great lyricist. I would hate for the world to lose another one to this drug. Go get well, Pete!!

The supermodel and the Babyshambles frontman have reportedly been viewing properties worth up to £5 million in plush Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.

But the news has shocked friends of the couple,

who are expected to marry later this year.

"Everyone is amazed that they're looking for a joint mortgage. It's rather romantic," a source told the Sunday Mirror. "But Kate's more conservative mates have been saying it's madness, given Pete's reputation as a wildman.
"He is not the first person you think of when it comes to financial stability. But they are both giddy about it and see it as a pledge of their love," the source added.

At the NME Awards, the boozy couple told News Of The World that marriage plans are in the works — aside from one minor problem: the cops are after Pete. Junkie Pete says the couple is planning an exotic far off ceremony, but the law has swiped his passport:
“We can’t get married thanks to the police f***ers. We want to do it away, a special wedding somewhere miles from anywhere and everyone. But the f***ing police have taken away my passport. It f***ing sucks. I’m stuck here.”

And Kate didn’t just listen to her chattering sweetheart. She added her own two cents:
“I just want to be with my boyfriend. He’s wild, crazy, but he’s cool.”

Not only is the gorgous gal in love with Pete, but she insists her doping days are over:
“I wouldn’t be standing here if I was off my face, would I?. I can’t understand all the interest in us any more. I’d rather be at home with him. We don’t go out much, only to the odd event like this. I don’t like this scene thing and I refuse to go to after parties. It’s not me. Like tonight, we’ll probably just go home afterwards and…”
