A spokeswoman for McCartney said that Biel was jetlagged -- the 24-year-old actress arrived in Paris from Los Angeles yesterday morning. But backstage, rumors flew that Biel was actually taken ill, as she did not reappear after she left the show.

However, Page Six spies state THAT Jessica had to walk out of the Stella McCartney show because she was so hung over from the Testino party at the Crillon the night before.

Nice try publicists on the "JETLAG" theory. Too many people out and about that could give your client up! You wonder if she'll get invited back to Stella's show? Anyway, just want to give a shout out to Ms. Biel for today is her birthday! Happy Birthday and try not to have too much "fun" during Paris Fashion Week!

The Brit's Wit Wows West Hollywood

Give Simon Cowell an audience and the criticisms and witticisms start flying. Such was the case Thursday night at the 24th Annual Paley Festival at the Directors Guild of America in West Hollywood. Cowell, who took part in a panel discussion about the show at the Museum of Television & Radio event, targeted his sharp tongue on new Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and Idol winner Taylor Hicks.

"Jennifer Hudson said American Idol was a 'stepping stone' for her. Stepping stone? It was her big opportunity to become noticed and she got noticed and she got Dreamgirls," Cowell said, noting that other past contestants "deliberately turn against the show that made them successful. The reason (people) come on the show is because all the doors had been slammed in their face."
As for Taylor Hicks, who won season 5's competition, "They (Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson) loved him. I couldn't stand him. I didn't get it," Cowell snapped, adding that "at the end of the day you have to find a bona fide recording artist. Just because you win the show doesn't mean you will sell a lot of records. Chris (Daughtry) is the one who sold the albums, not Taylor."

Thursday's elimination show – in which contestants Alaina Alexander, Leslie Hunt, Nicholas Pedro and AJ Tabaldo were voted off and tears were shed. Cowell questioned the sentiment. "Oh, please," he drolled. "My theory is why would you cry if one of your competitors is kicked off? Be delighted. They know the cameras are on. Trust me.

Oh Snap! That Simon Cowell certainly knows how to put everyone in their place.

Rose McGowan Is A Clutz!

Rose McGowan, One of the Charmed one's, is nursing three broken toes after walking into a door. This is the latest in a line of painful injuries for our accident-prone actress, who risked serious injury when an airbag deployed in a recent car accident and crushed her glasses into her face. The 33-year-old actress spent weeks recovering from the ordeal, which took place at the beginning of the year.

So do you think that is the reason for the WONKY eye?

Everyone has been talking about drug use, too much surgery but could it be due to something as horrible as an accident? Poor thing, if this is true! How painful that must have been to have glass smashed into your face. Then, I give her props for even going out with the injuries which obviously have not even healed yet.

Pamela Anderson is heading back to TV

The blond bombshell has been on the sidelines since her last show, "Stacked," about a hottie working in a bookstore, hit the skids after just one season. Now we're told Anderson has teamed up with her old "Baywatch" producers for another series - a "fantasy-based drama" that takes place at a Malibu beach club. The show, to be exec-produced by Handprint Entertainment, does not have a title yet, but will start shooting in the spring.

I don't know why but for some reason I like Pammy! It will be fun to have her back on TV.

The Queen Gets A Standing "O"

Dame Helen Mirren returned to England yesterday and received a standing ovation from the crowds at Heathrow Airport.

Mirren had just flew in from LA and was still clutching her best actress gong. She said: I’ve just had the most incredible welcome to my country. It’s very sweet.” One passenger said: “Everyone burst into spontaneous applause when she passed through. It was incredible and she looked really touched by it." Mirren spent twenty minutes signing autographs and posing for photos with fans whilst waiting for her luggage.

She also said she loved the photo of her eating a burger after her Oscars win, telling The Mirror: it’s a wonderful picture. I was so hungry at that point and just needed to eat something.”

Oh, the stars. They too love the burgers. Who'd have thought "the Queen" (Helen Mirren) was up for a bit of the ol' In-N-Out? In what seems to be a Hollywood tradition, there is a stand which is set up at the back of the Vanity Fair Oscar party for the stars to have their fill.

Guess Who Has A Secret Museum?

The material girl has kept hold of thousands of costumes which she keeps hidden away at an undisclosed location in California. She reveals, "I have an archive museum in a warehouse which houses all the costumes I've worn on stage and in videos - one-of-a-kind pieces made for me and special pieces I've always loved."

That would be a major fabulous day to go through MADONNA's museum. Those clothes must be worth a fortune!

I was so excited to hear that NBC decided to re-new Las Vegas for the 5th season!

Then come to find out that these 2 will not be coming back :(

Las Vegas is set to return for a fifth season in the fall without two of its stars, James Caan and Nikki Cox. Caan wants to return to movies, while Cox's departure is said to stem from budget cuts. The show boasts a large ensemble cast and has moved from Mondays to Fridays, where viewership levels are lower. As for Cox, who plays a comely casino hostess, she said she was "very sad and shocked ... I wish them all the best of luck and had a great time working on the show."

I just don't know if the show will be able to hold it's own without James Caan. That was one of the main reasons I started watching. But, then Josh (Leo, from All My Kids) is so hot that kept me coming back for more. I guess we will have to see what the writers come up with.


Then I find out that ER heartthrob Goran Visnjic has reportedly quit the hit hospital drama.

The Croatian actor, who plays Dr. Luca Kovac, is thought to be leaving the show at the end of the current series. Visnjic, 34, joined the medical drama in 1999.

However, TV bosses want Visnjic to star in a further six episodes to allow them time to write him out of the storyline, which involves his relationship with Dr. Abby Lockhart, played by Maura Tierney.

So, there we have it. Quite a bit of change to be happening for this next season's line up.

Meryl Streep believes women should rule the world because of their multi-tasking skills. The Oscar-nominated star thinks peace would be easier to achieve if leaders around the globe were female.



She says, "Women are very well-suited to ruling because of the multi-tasking we can do. If women were running the world there would be more investment in peace because we don't want to see our children killed."

Gisele Wants Babies While Bridget Finds A New Pal

In the new issue of Italian Vanity Fair, the Victoria's Secret model revealed that she wants a big family. When the magazine asked Bundchen whether she wants to have kids, she replied, "I'd be lying if I said no - my parents have been married for 35 years and have six children. Thing is, I'm just 26 years old, so I have plenty of time.''

On love:
"It's one of the most beautiful things in life, but you have to live it the right way," she told the mag. "You have to be able to give love before you can receive it.''

Angel Does CSI:NY

Three weeks ago that CBS show 'CSI: NY' shot a magic-themed episode in Vegas with 'Mindfreak' Criss Angel. Network officials wasted no time in racing it right through editing to broadcast it tonight. The popular series stars Gary Sinise as detective Mac Taylor, a former Marine Corps officer who conducts investigations according to Veneziano's everything is connected theory of quantum physics, and Melina Kanakaredes as detective Stella Bonaserra. Criss plays magician, Luke Blade who becomes a prime suspect as his assistants die off!

Taylor's Album Dived

Looks like Taylor Hicks' gray hair might have been a liability after all, as his debut album is tracking to be the first by an "Idol" winner to fall short of 1 million units sold, which some music industry wags blame on Hicks' soul-lite stylings being too "old."

The unlikely Season Five champ has sold 640,000 copies of "Taylor Hicks," which was released in December, but the album is languishing below 100 on the Billboard charts, while fourth-place finisher Chris Daughtry has already sold over a million copies of his debut disc. What's more, fellow "Idol" winners Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, Ruben Studdard, and Carrie Underwood all did much better in their first couple months.

An exec from J Records, in an interview with the AP, blames the record's "longer burn" on the fact that the music is "much more adult."
