The foxy pirate has decided to immerse himself in a Buddhist lifestyle rather than make any more movies for now, saying that making back to back trilogies was exhausting. Bloom says, "I've been white knuckling it for so long. Between the first Lord Of The Rings and the last Pirates Of The Caribbean I've been going non-stop. So now I just want some time and space from everything and the phone and the communication." Bloom has been studying Buddhism for several years, and wants to totally focus his energies in that direction, rather than on the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. He has also committed himself to a "green" lifestyle in response to the world's global warming issues.

According to his IMDB page he has no other films in the works after the release of 'Pirates 3'.
